Welcome to Spandexless: Comics reviews with no capes required.

Here we are dedicated to the review and feature of comics outside the superhero genre, with a particular focus on small press and self-published works. We want to give “column inches” to the books that might not get it on other review sites. We’ve found that by filtering out all the superhero noise the industry generates, we are able to uncover some wonderful books that might have escaped our attention otherwise.

So why do we hate superheroes? We don’t. But if you want to know more about that, you should check out our About Us page.
